1. Consultation. Takes place at our Reading or Harley Street clinic, or by video call. We look at your profile from the side and with your head tilted down, check how much of the fullness is fat versus skin, and look at chin projection and jaw definition.
2. Your plan. We explain which cause or causes apply to you, which treatments we recommend, in what order, how many sessions, the cost and what result is realistic.
3. Treatment. Most appointments take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the treatment. You can go back to normal activities the same day.
4. Recovery. Expect some swelling, tenderness or bruising after fat dissolving injections, settling over a few days to two weeks. HIFU can leave light tingling for a few weeks.
5. Review. We check progress between sessions and adjust the plan if needed.
