Full Dental Consultation (FDC):
Within this appointment you will receive an extensive examination of your teeth and related structures. We use state of the art technology to be able to assess your oral health using an advanced Digital X-ray system and intra oral cameras. You may require X-rays at this appointment.
Following this a diagnosis will be given and an appropriate treatment plan formulated. A treatment estimate will be provided to you. Please note that all treatment estimates are only valid for a period of 6 months. It is recommended that a dental examination is required every 6-12 months to ensure optimal dental health. Please be aware that if you do not attend the clinic for 24months we would advise you to undergo a full dental consultation again.
Dental Hygiene Appointments:
From 1st May 2013 the General Dental Council permits patients to directly access the services of dental hygienists without the need to see a dentist first.
We have 2 options available with the hygienist:
- H30 – 30 mins
- H60 – 1 hour
We believe in preventative Dental care and we will advise you of the occurrence in dental hygiene appointments that will suit your health.
Facial Aesthetics
Facial Aesthetics, like that of Anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers, is becoming more popular and more available than ever. The industry is currently becoming more regulated as a medical profession and we are working in full support of this. As well as being a part of the Save Face campaign we also run our own training programs for medical professionals all over the world to ensure that patient safety is of paramount importance whilst delivering excellent results.
Full Facial Consultation (FFC):
During your consultation we will discuss why you are here and what types of procedures you are interested in. After a full examination of the area(s) we will be able to advise you on the options that are available to you and what treatments would be more suitable for you. You will be given a treatment plan estimate along with all the necessary documentation on the treatments that we have discussed. Please note that we do not go ahead with any treatment on the day of the consultation unless urgent care is required.
Skin & Laser Consultation (SLC):
Within this appointment you will be able to discuss which treatments you are interested in and we will be able to advise you on the options that are available to you.
It may be necessary to complete a patch test during this consultation process in which you will have to wait 48 hours prior to commencing with any treatment. You will be given a full treatment plan estimate along with any other information regarding the treatments discussed during the consultation.
Please note that it is customary to have a follow up appointment (either in person, via video link or over the phone) booked two weeks after the Consultation and 2/3 days after any treatment, this will be with our treatment co-ordinator or Skin & laser Therapist. This will give you the opportunity to discuss any further requirements or questions that you may have. If you do not feel that this is necessary, please let a member of staff know.
We offer Free Consultations to all our clients with our treatment co-ordinator for those of you who do not wish to attend a consultation with the clinician. Please keep in mind that this is for information only, the treatment co-ordinator cannot diagnose your situation but can advise you on the services that we provide, their associated costs and our finance plans.
Payment Procedure:
At DrBK it is customary to pay a 50% deposit towards all future appointments. We have a number of 0% finance options available and also offer plans for those of you who wish to spread the cost. Please speak with a member of staff if you wish to know more information.
